It really cooks the rice perfectly and the aroma is sealed within giving your rice a very inviting aroma.
Its locking domed lid keeps the heat trapped inside and prevents any heat from escaping. The purpose of the domed lid prevents water moisture from dripping on the rice keeping its tenderness. Some rice cookers don’t have this feature that is why the rice gets a little soaked from the moisture.
The Panasonic SR-TEG18 10-Cup Rice Cooker has a broad heating plate just under the rice pan provides the heat and there are also hidden heaters on all sides of the cooker that work together to keep the rice warm for up to 12 hours. Its moisture cap prevents the rice from boiling over the rice pan.
This rice cooker can accommodate up to 20 cups of cooked rice which is just perfect for an average sized family. Its ergonomic handles make it easy to carry from your kitchen countertop to your dinner table. The warranty is only a month though, but this only shows that the product has been tested for its durability. The warranty is useful when you bought a defective product which you can actually notice right away.
